Jean Kolb – Wellness Advocate, Speaker, Coach

JEAN'S BIO

Jean Kolb joined Kohler Co. in 1978 and retired from the largest plumbing manufacturer in the world in 2015.  She held a variety of leadership positions and was instrumental in the opening of the Kohler Waters Spa in Kohler, Wisconsin.  She held the position of Director of Wellness for the last twenty years leading the planning, development and operations of multiple Kohler Waters Spa locations.  In addition, Jean oversaw a 5,000 member health club and yoga studio.  With her focus on health and wellness, Jean was instrumental in the hiring, development and success of over 250 associates.  In 2012 the Kohler Waters Spa achieved the highest industry award as one of 48 designated Forbes Five Star Spas in the world.  It is a designation that is still enjoyed today.  While at Kohler, she shared her leadership knowledge through coaching high potential Kohler executives through the Kohler Co. Leadership NXT Program for the development of future leaders. 

Jean served as Chairman of the International Spa Association and held a seat on the Board of Directors for eight years.   Jean served on the Board of Directors of the Wellness Council of Wisconsin, a division of WELCOA in 2014-2015. Jean continues to serve on the Nominations and Speaker Task Force committee for the International Spa Association. 

Over her career, Jean has developed a passion for wellness and living a balanced lifestyle.  She is a leader who exemplifies wellness in the workplace.  Jean is committed to bringing her expertise to others in the wellness, leadership and customer service industry.  It is out of this passion she founded Jean Kolb Well By Choice.  Jean is an executive coach providing one-on-one leadership and life coaching opportunities.  Jean shares her vast knowledge as a professional speaker, educating audiences on the importance of the choices we make.  She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing at Lakeland College of Wisconsin.

Jean and her husband, Dan reside in Kohler, Wisconsin.  They have two grown sons and daughters-in-law with growing families.
